Seohwa Hanbok provides various types of hanbok in a wide range of sizes — male (XS–2XL) and female (XS–4XL) — plus hanbok for children. At Seohwa Hanbok, all premium-design hanbok are offered at the same price, so you never have to worry about cost. Simply choose the design you love.

Coming from Exit 4 of Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3) toward Gyeongbokgung Palace, you’ll find us right in front of the Gyeongbokgung Station elevator — only 1 minute from the palace. Wearing hanbok also grants free admission to Seoul’s royal palaces such as Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung.

1. Reserve your visit

   Send your reservation details (name, visit date & time, number of people) in advance by email to seohwahb@naver.com or via Instagram @seohwahanbok, and we’ll reply to confirm. Reservations aren’t mandatory, but without one you may have to wait — especially on weekends and public holidays, so early booking is strongly recommended.

2. Choose your favorite hanbok

   Select your preferred design in-store. You may try on hanbok up to two times and rent one of the two you tried on. Advance design reservations before visiting are not available.

3. Add accessories

   Pick your hair accessories and norigae. A variety of accessories are provided free of charge. Special items such as gat and ikseongwan are available for an additional 4,000 KRW.

4. Enjoy your experience

   Explore Gyeongbokgung and the surrounding royal palaces in your hanbok, and create special memories at the location of your choice.

5. Return the hanbok

   After returning the hanbok and all accessories, collect your deposited identification and security deposit.

The 4-hour option is recommended if you plan to visit one or two locations while wearing hanbok.

• A passport and deposit are required to rent. One passport per group plus a 10,000 KRW deposit per person.
• If you prefer not to leave your passport, a passport photo plus a 50,000 KRW deposit per outfit is required. Due to internal store policy, rental may only be possible when a passport is deposited.
• The deposit must be paid in cash only and is returned after a brief inspection once everything is returned.
• In cases of severe staining or damage, the deposit may be partially deducted according to regulations.

• You may try on hanbok up to two times and choose one as your final selection. Additional fittings are 5,000 KRW each.
• Fitting assumes rental. If you decide not to rent after fitting, fitting fees apply per number of fittings.
• Personal belongings can be stored at the shop free of charge during the rental period.
• Photos may only be taken while wearing the final selected hanbok.
• Late return without prior notice incurs a 10,000 KRW penalty plus additional rental charges.
• No refunds are given for unused time, even if the hanbok is returned early.
